I'll admit that I didn't know that the bicycle was the traditional gettaway transportation method of choice for the ninja....

I saw some clip from a comedy TV show in Japan where they were interviewing a "ninja" school in japan. The funniest things was the ninjas were doing the worst bicycle tricks, balancing on the seat by their belly (badly) and stuff. So I wasn't surprised to hear them using bikes as getaway vehicles.
