Some d20 publisher needs to publish that sucker. Or maybe I should tart it up a bit more and submit it to Dragon.

Perhaps if you asked a d20 publisher to publish it... After all, right now d20 pubs can't touch it since is your copyrighted material. Personally, I'd want to see more than just one familiar alternative if I were to fool with it. As a Dragon article, it would need to be a little longer but not nearly as long as it would have to be for a random publisher to put it out there. You're only stumbling block with Dragon is they recently did an alternate familiar article IIRC.
