No Hero's Welcome - OOC discussions

OK, post is up, and my plan remains the same. Just fire away until the Ogre is down, keeping just out of AoO range, and worry about the Gnoll once the Ogre is out of the picture. I'm sure I'll have some sort of devious plan to deal with the furball (not you, Baraka) later... :]

Yeah, my plans are the same, Crossbow the orge to death, then worry about the Gnoll. Healing anyone who needs it if closer than Conrad, and switching to quaterstaff if anyone gets too close.

Wow, thank Orcus... I was beginning to get worried that this game was going to stagnate and die! Glad that things are picking up again. But I guess that we never heard from Voda Vosa, huh? We just going to NPC Kuro, or part ways at the next opportunity?

Hi, i was on a bussines trip to Hungrary, sorry to leave you waiting. I will fight defensive (-4 att, +2 AC) and try to hold the gnoll a few rounds off, so that you can take care of the Ogre.
If it looks like as if the Gnoll wants to escape, i will drop my weapon and grapple him. We need to talk to him, so i try to not let him get away.

Hmm, point taken. I hadn't forseen that we may need to talk to him, so I guess it's nonlethal damage away, then! I'll bet that the Gnoll will be a lot more cooperative than the Ogre... :p

Sorry for taking so long. But now we certainly got things going. This time I really had to guess what you'd be doing, I hope I didn't play against your concepts right now (or missed something that would've made this child's play).

I'd also like to note that I certainly didn't plan this straight away, it all resulted from your actions and the roll of the die. Although, to be honest, a quickly accelerating skycart and a divided party _are_ cool. At least for a DM ;)

Well, it all seems In-Character to me, and I friggin' LOVE the theatrics! I've always been an Indiana Jones fan, and this is reminiscent of the opening scene of Temple Of Doom. I love it! :D

OK, I have a definite plan for what I want to do with Novhilion. Right now, I want to avoid conflict with the guard (killing a guard won't look good at all). So, how would I go about a fancy drop down into the warehouse? Maybe I could use the soft, squishy Ogre as a landing pad? What I want to do is drop down (with a little backup, of course) and cast Charm Person (damn, I love that spell) on the guard. If it works, I say we ask him for any relevant information about what's really going on here, and get him to open up any doors for us in the surrounding area that might be locked. Afterwards, I say that we search the area for any rope, knock him out if he resists (either me, Kuro, or Oakheart thump him with a nonlethal shot from a bludgeoning weapon, probably me, since my flail is most likely to do enough damage for a OHKO), and tie him up, along with dealing with the prostitute (but she seems more likely to be friendly ;)). We'll deal with shutting him up later. A good bribe might do the trick. I'd recommend that at least one person stays on the roof, in case anybody drops from the skycart, or somebody else comes. After we wrap up business with the guard (as quickly as possible), Novhilion's going to stand guard on the street below. Any objections, fellow adventurers?

I'm totally fine with the way this played out. Nervous, but fine. Baraka is not too thrilled to have found himself fighting on a tiny runaway skycoach but it makes for a good story.

Since the group is split cross-talk may not be allowed. But I will sneak this through... I think the whore is in league with the gnoll and ogre. Too convenient for my liking.

As for Baraka's actions...

First off he will shift gaining a precious few extra hp. He will then stow/sheath his bow as the close quarters makes it relatively useless. Draw his dagger and attempt to grapple the gnoll.
