I have to admit, this Talk Like a Pirate Day has been pretty much a non-event. About as piraty as I got was using my own horrible text message langauge in one of my rare texts today.

Talking like a pirate wasn't an option while doing group prep & brainstorming for a difficult negotiation.

I worked my arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrse off.

I changed my facebook page to a Bikke the Pirate .gif (from Final Fantasy) and added his famous quote:

"Arr, I am Bikke the Pirate, and surprised I am that you scurvey dogs have the nerve to face me. Mates! Get those land lubbers!" *fshuu, fshuu*

The *fshuu* is the sound effect that preceeds a fight scene. You heard it in your head if you've played the game before.
