No love for Talk Like a Pirate Day! Avast!

I played Tower, the Warforged Artificer in the WWD&DGD game, as a pirate. I also insisted on him being called "Cap'n Tower" a couple of times.

Brilliantly, one of the other players gave his character a pirate-esque voice without even knowing it was ITLaP day!

I forgot it was pirate day until I got downtown that night and people were dressed up as pirates for drinkin' ye grog, savvy?

I had pirates in last nights game- Scurvy Sea Dogs - durty slavers that they were hung around with a cave troll and a hobgoblin first mate.

There are plenty less sea dogs around today, Arrrr...

I have to admit, this Talk Like a Pirate Day has been pretty much a non-event.

That comes from it falling on a Saturday this year...

Talk Like a Pirate Day is one of those rare holidays that's better celebrated during a work day.
