Perhaps if people would buy the damn thing instead of constantly complaining that it isn't a real GH sourcebook, they might be more inclined to keep selling it, eh?

Forgive me if I sound blunt, but when I hear "wow, maybe we'll get a real GH book now" it tells me simply "this guy/gal hasn't even read the LGG, sheesh..."

Itt hink it is a decent book...The art isn't as good as FRCS, but the nfo is a little better, they don't spoil the NPCS with stats and such...i think that jsut lends you to think that you shoulkd be able to take on the Npc....one of my only complaints with FR...

There's a very good chance that the scooper was operating upon information that wasn't 100% accurate (though with a company this size, it's sometimes difficult to tell). We're looking into it. The Gazetteer is certainly supposed to be available for as long as Living Greyhawk is a going concern, which it very much is.

I wonder if this indicates that Living Greyhawk will be defunct before year's end. Consider the following statements:

A) LGG is going out of print, and
B) LGG will not go out of print as long as Living Greyhawk is around, therefore,
C) Living Greyhawk won't be around much longer.

I'm not saying that C is what will in fact happen. I'm just saying that, given Erik Mona saying that even he doesn't know all that's going on in WotC, it's entirely possible that the decision has been made to axe the whole Living Greyhawk thing.

Just goes to show that GH is niche and will always be niche, especially with the way the fan base splinters over silly little issues as time goes by.

No offense, but how is GH niche? I mean, it's very general fantasy land that's suitable for nearly any campaign. It's not detailed down to every city and region, not nearly as much as FR is, from what I hear.

I see Ravenloft, Al-Quadim, Planescape, etc as being much more niche.

Now, the concept of living greyhawk is very nice in my opinion.
