Though I can now only hope they don't mess it up by bringing a wanna be on for directing, it does mean the new superman is sounding better and better. :)

NOOOOOOOOO!!!

AAAARGH!

I hope Singer will still do X-3. :( I clinc to the hope.

That about sums up my feelings too.

Finally a studio found a director with the passion and talent for a scifi subject and gave them a budget to make a good movie. Sony did the same thing with Raimi and Spider-Man. I hope the next director for the X-Men series also has the passion and talent that Singer has for it.

I want Joss Whedon. His 'Astonishing X-Men' are... well, astonishing.

That is, if can hold the campyness back alittle.

EDIT: Silly english spelling.

Well, I'd want to see either the studio or director's response before thinking it completely "official" ... also, if it is true, there is always the chance that they will still "make amends" but who knows ...

I haven't seen Joss directing anything on the big screen. If Serenity works out allright, that's not an impossibility though.

I was not even really thinking of it in means of directing, but as
franchise head honcho. The Writer/Producer. (Not that I don't
want him directing).
