It looks like it uses material from a lot of books already on my shelves and also seems a like S&S heavy, like there may not have been many submissions.

That was my guess. We'll probably never know, though.

I imagine we'll see more publishers submitting next year.

Seventeen total products. Five from Sword & Sorcery. Two from Green Ronin. Two from Necromancer. One from Goodman Games. One from Atlas. One from The Inner Circle. One from Silven Publishing. One from Genjitsu Games. One from the Game Mechanics. One from Mystic Eye Games. One from Blue Devil Games.

Other than a relative lack of PDF publishers, that doesn't look like the world's most surprising list. Good on whoever at S&S who presumably sent their entire catalog over to Malhavoc for consideration. That's the way these things have to work.
