The irony of the above is inescapable.

In regards to the Testament setting, I love the concepts, but I don't think I'll EVER get to run in a game. This is because the best DM for it in our group (an amateur scholar of Jewish history, tradition, and religion) does not like the idea of running it, compared to his other campaign ideas, and me running it for him makes me feel like I'd be running Forgotten Realms for Ed Greenwood.

But one of these days, I will run a Fighter/Judge, darn it!

Actually, my next North Carolina Gameday, I am trying to decide what to offer to run. I am leaning towards Arcana Unearthed, Call of Cthulhu, or even Spycraft. Since I have a few months, I have time to add a few more options in the mix...

I like to run and/or play stuff that I am extremely unlikely to ever do at home when I go to the gamedays. For our next one, in about a month or so, I'm running "The Duchess' Tea Party"; a spoof of sorts on the stereotype that people throw around for the "latte set" roleplayers and the kind of games they prefer to play. Of course, there's a twist; we aren't really going to just spend all our time roleplaying out the conversation of a bunch of fops at a tea party. Then, I'm running d02:Know No Limit!!!!!111! as a bit of a joke, really, to see how well that "system" works as a fun, beer and pretzels type of game. Then, I'm doing a Dark*Matter d20 conversion using d20 Modern but with CoC Sanity, spells and psychic feats thrown into the mix.
