Out, damn scout.

Wilderness Rogue (which is here - just scroll down to Rogue Variant.. - and also in Unearthed Arcana, by WotC) is all the 'scout' anyone needs.

As before, I like them all, so going by what I think adds the least to the game, I say duskblade: I like the fighting mage as a core class, but there are other ways of accomplishing the same thing, so it's not strictly necissary.

Death to the beguiler!

Seriously, break the class down into its component parts and you'll find that the beguiler is nothing more than a bard that can't sing in exchange for WORSE combat ability and saves and a few kinda-cool-but-not-really spell "tricks".

Feh, I say.

I think they're a better bard than the bard. They have a much better skill list, and are full casters, unlike bards. Bards were never that great in combat, anyway, so losing their medium BAB isn't that big of a sacrifice in exchange for their other abilities IMO.

Still could be a toss-up between the Scout or Duskblade for my vote. I switched to Duskblade this round.

I will be seriously disappointed if the Scout makes it to the final three. It's not a bad class, but it is a far cry from a good one. If one house rules that Rogues can take Survival, then the Scout has no reason, whatsoever, for its existance.

To cut the psion means cutting the quintessential psionics user and will be considered an attack on psionics. Just so you know. :D

So I went beguiler. But I think we've passed the point of needed pruning here.
