Actually three classes are being eliminated this round, so the spellthief (the one I voted for) will be departing too. The wilder right now holds the third spot, but there's a few classes (healer, lurk, wu jen) only one vote behind it so it still has a chance this round.

It's going to be hard for me to decide what to vote next round.

If the third one is too close to call, maybe you could just remove the samurai and spellthief for next round.

You should add in the Erudite from CPsi, too. It seems more than just a throw-away class, despite being in the appendix (actually, it's better than most of the rest of the book).

Goodbye Wu-Jen. You're a redundant wizard that has been hit by an "Orientals and Asianses are different!" (I need smiley that expresses my disdain for making "Oriental" things exotic and special).

As much as the 'seperate asian classes' thing is silly, I don't think there's any reason to take it out on the wu jen. Personally, I think they're a cooler class than the core wizard, even for non-asian themed characters.

Yes, I've decided to allow them in my Eberron campaign, with the Asian themes removed and altered, if the players wish to use them. They'll have to sure them in Eberron themed fashion (such as running a goblin "ninja").

I can't believe you guys are so eager to get rid of the spellthief... the COOLEST CLASS EVER. Seriously, man, play one for a bit, and then tell me it's a crappy class. Once you steal a spell, you'll be hooked, I promise you. It's the funnest class I've ever played.

Whoops! Okay, I fixed the image (by picking someone less likely to notice a little hotlinking).

Still, there's nothing that bizzare about the over-romantacized ninjas that come out of anime in compared to the mind-twinked psions that came from sci-fi books.

Still, i wonde,r why are there never any base classes from other mythologies? Did india never have a unique fighting unit? Are there no legendary warriors from africa?

What I'm finding interesting is that 2 of the 3 classes with zero votes (at least now) are classes from the PHB II.
Could it be because the PHB II rocks, just in general?

Anyway, I just want psionics out, so I went there first. And given that Psion is practically the quintessential psionic user, there was my vote.

But the Complete Warrior Samurai is pretty bad. There's no real denying that. The OA version is much cooler.

I do not even think that this round needs to continue. Just un-necessary pain for the CW Samurai. Give 'em some mercy and close this one, and go on to the next round.
