Is there one? I want a bard for a non-magical continuity. What if I replaced the spells with the warriors weapon group abilities or the Gunslingers grit? Would that be OP?

Really, if I was going to build a non-magical bard, I would think about starting with the Expert Class and merging that with the Bard class (ie, increase skill points). One thing I have also done in the past is replace the spells with extra bardic performances, which works alright. I am not sure why you would want to bring in gunslinger or weapon group abilities unless you are thinking of a battle bard, but skalds have been done in various ways already I am pretty sure.

You might also check out some of the older threads which discuss this, like this one for instance

I think the rogue could be a perfect bard. Having a class doesn't give you the profession.
A rogue, in my opinion could be thief, assassin, mercenary, brawler, artisian, dancer, pimp, liar or a bard.
a bard, on the other hand restricts what your character is. The bard class is a kind of sorcerer who can imbue allies or enemies with a special type of magic through his performances.
So if you want a guy who sings or plays instriments without magic. You have a rogue.

Yes - a charismatic rogue can make an excellent performer and is the way to go if you want your bard to have sneak attack. The Carnivalist archetype would be an interesting character for this, or even the rake.

I think the OP wants to preserve the bardic performance ability, or am I wrong? To me, that is what puts the bard in bard. I could imagine a non-magical bard that replaces spells with some investigator abilities, and perhaps more bardic performance rounds and the ability to maintain more than one bardic performance at once at higher levels.

You are correct. I'm not sure what sort of investigator abilities I should give them, and how many extra rounds for bardic performances would be balanced?
