Non-system-specific ideas

Hey, I hope this isn't too off-topic... I've created a LiveJournal community called Kindling Sparks, and the point is to post fictional ideas for things that would not really be worth a story unto themselves, but would work great for fleshing out and breathing life into a larger story. I think that if the community starts growing it would serve as an awesome resource for ideas for games, and I've already posted 2 of my own ideas.
