Non TSR/WotC D&D Campaign Settings

Isn't "Conan" a separate game?
Conan is both a separate d20 game (with differences on par with the Star Wars game) and also a short-lived TSR setting. It is not, though, a 3rd edition D&D setting, unless you count fan conversions.

Thanks for the mentions on Destan's Valus setting guys :D

In addition to Valus, Different Worlds is publishing Rob Kuntz's World of Kalibruhn setting.

I'm not really into D&D anymore, just d20 Modern, but if I were going to start a D&D game with a non-WotC setting, Dawnforge, Midnight, Iron Kingdoms and The Hunt: Rise of Evil all look pretty sweet.

Is the new Black Company setting going to be d20? Campatible with DnD?
Yes to the first question, questionable to the second. I mean, technically it probably will be, but it'd be a bit like having Jedi knights from the d20 Star Wars game in D&D. You could do it, but it probably would cause more headaches than it's worth.

Nightfall, it isn't nice to hack Psion's account.
I regret to inform you I didn't hack his account. If I had, I'd get all his swag. :p

In any case thanks Psion. (was without access for a short time.)

Depends on what you mean by D&D settings because most Third Party settings feature heavily modified rules that make them only superficially D&D and more of something else... Midnight springs to mind on that one as well as Dawnforge...

My favorite 3rd Party settings are...

Scarred Lands (default 3.5)
Dragonstar (literally D&D in space)

And well, the rest change too much for my tastes.

Technically speaking Rokugan doesn't qualify. It's the official Legend of the Five Rings setting later adapted to D&D. I'm looking for 3rd party D&D campaign settings designed specifically for D&D. Even if not 'official'.

Then should Kingdom's of Kalamar even qualify by that standard? It was a setting using it's own rules (at least that is what I have been told) before being converted to D&D. I know Kalamar has been out for a long long time, I have seen the products on the shelves of my FLGS, but have never bothered to flip through it. *shrug* Rokugan and Kingdoms of Kalamar are nearly in the same situation.
