JUST KIDDING! This topic was only to get more hits, as I posted a while ago and have ONE hit. So yea...here's the real question:

I apologize if this has been posted before. I do not have the search feature.

In the DMG I, it lists various tables for item damage and DCs for opening doors and calculating HP and so on. (p. 65). My question is this:

On page 64, in the DCs to Break Down Doors table, it lists a level. What is this a representative of? Character level? Item level? Suggested level for this DC?

Thank you in advance.

Moderator's note: That title may get you noticed, but it will not make folks in the 4e forum favorably disposed to speaking with you. I strongly suggest you change it something that looks less like flamebait. You may edit the title by editing the first post and then click the "Go Advanced" button

It is an item level, which means the item in question would be an ordinary obstacle to a party of that level, probably easily overcome and the least sort of challenge you would bother to have. Higher level doors would be more challenging. Of course PC skill bonuses can be all over the place, so you may need to use tougher DCs (iron door vs wooden) for a specific party.
