heh. i'm in davis, so i'm up for it. I may even be able to get some space from the campus gaming club, and have the game day at UC Davis =)

If you could I think that would be awesome.

I was thinking of applying there, and it'd be neat to get an early view of the campus. :)

EDIT: By the way, if there's a spill-over of players, I've got a neat miniatures game called "Habet, Hoc Habet" in which you play the owners of teams of gladiators, and send said gladiators in to fight and die. It's a very, very fun game, and takes a few hours to play, so that if we have too many players, and not enough DM's, the extras can play this.

Or any other games people bring along.

Get your grades up and apply to Berkeley. Nowhere else compares ;) .

Wayside, if you're close enough, and you have the time, would you mind checking it out to see if we can rent a gaming room in the future?

Greetings folks! I just called Great Escapes and spoke with Gary Lane about reserving a room. They used to have a bunch of smaller rooms, but remodeled so that they now have only one large room. He said that he would be willing to reserve a section of the room based on the number of people at no charge (expect for Fridays which are really busy). I will not be able to coordinate this myself (the next couple of days is going to be crazy), but I'd thought I'd get the ball rolling. He hadn't heard of En World, go figure. Maybe we can change that!

Regards,

Mark

I used to game at Great Escape and play D&D and/or Mechwarrior DA there. It's not hard on the weekends to find a game table. I think Wednesday's they have Whorewammer tournaments though. Saturday's are pretty easy to get set up though. We never needed a reserve and we usually had a table capable of accomodating 8 people or so without a problem. The easiest way to assure this is to get there around noon when the store opens though. The later in the afternoon it gets, the more packed it gets. The best table for roleplaying is in the back, behind a wall. Helps cut down on the noise and everything from the Whorewammer players shouting constantly.
