D&D 4E Not 4e

So... I've been tossing around some ideas about per-encounter spellcasting, and SW Saga, and Bo9S, and "power sources", and Swashbuckling in general, when some nice ways to simplify things occurred to me.

However, the changes are deep and pervasive. Basically, I'm going to end up re-writing the SRD.

As of now, skills are 50% done and Feats are 30% done, with magic being about 4d6% done. Classes are very simple (just like SW Saga classes with one important difference), but the Talent trees need a bunch of work.

Anyway... I'm curious if anyone would be interested in the deeply unrewarding prospect of looking this over? There's not a ton of stuff up there now, but it's growing.

All my work to date is up on a private password-protected wiki, and I have a one-man Yahoo group started to handle any discussion which might occur, because I don't want to prematurely publish something which might end up being worth some moolah.

Since my hope is to make it publishable, I'll request the equivalent of a gentleman's NDA before granting access. (Did I mention deeply unrewarding? Let me add annoying.)

I'll do it. I was about to re-write all of the spells anyway to toss Vancian magic out the window. spells were not as powerful as quickly and had miss chances, skill checks, more costly components, etc, to keep them balanced. but now I suppose I'll wait and see what 4e looks like and build from there.

but I'll look at your system for you.
