Not a Poll! Who are your favourite D&D villians?

Dragonlance: Kitiara, Lord Soth, Raistlin

Demon Lords, Drow, Giants

Greyhawk: Lareth the Beautiful, Hedrack, and the gang from TOEE/RTTOEE

Forgotten Realms: Lolth, Errtu, Drizzt's relatives and members of House Baenre

villains eh?

Hmmmmm tough choices in some cases....

Greyhawk, gotta go with Vecna here, nothing beats being an old dusty bag of bones and yet still be live and kicking.

Ravenloft, Strahd Von Zarovic. Period.

Dragonlance, not my favorite setting per se, but gotta go with Lord Soth here.

Forgotten Realms, always liked Sarevok from the Baldur's Gate series.

Birthright, I like most of the Awnsheighlen, but if I were to choose one, I would go with the Black Prince himself. Go Gorgon!

Dark Sun, hmmm... I like all the sorceror kings and Rajaat, so can't decide.

Stezen D'Polarno from Ravenloft. Yeah, he's a minor guy, but... I love him. Completely crass half the time, and completely flamboyant the other half.

Heck, Ravenloft presents a bunch of good ones. Lemot Sediam Juste is wonderful as well--an illusionist playwright who doesn't believe his illusions--he just disbelieves everything else. Simultaneously nihilistic and artsily idealistic.

Tloques-Popolocas from Greyhawk. Again, minor guy, but dripping with Olman badness and bizarrely creepy.

Duke Carilon Alam from Birthright. He's a fine and upstanding man enough to be able to get away with stuff that an awnshegh or even a saber-rattler like Gavin Tael can't. I still love the time I played him with enough political savvy that he got called the "Teflon Duke." He got both Jaison Raenech and the ruler of Coeranys to swear fealty to him. Tuornen sweated hard, let me tell you, when that was immediately followed with a treaty with Ghoere.

Oh, and Thrakkazz from Birthright. The Blood Skull Barony is where it's at!
