Not logging out...

I am not Archon. I am Xath. I press the log out button. It says "are you sure you want to log out?" I say yes. It tells me I can go back to the page I was viewing or I can go to the forum index. I've pressed both multiple times, but it always says Welcome, Archon.

How do I log out?

How about you shut down your browser and delete your ENworld cookies?

Yeah but he shouldn't have to do that. But it would probably work as a temporary solution.

My wife is having the same problem at home. She can't log me out. Fortunately, she already posted her Ceramic DM story. I'm sure the problem will clear up soon.

FWIW I occasionally experience "stale cookies" with EN World. I usually notice it when the "Mark, This Forum Read" button doesn't work. It also prevents me from logging out. Manually deleting my cookies has always solved the problem.

In fact I experienced stale cookies just today. Deleted cookies for enworld.org and www.enworld.org and all was fine. Didn't even have to do a browser reboot.

It's normally such a small and infrequent thing that I don't bother to mention it, but since it seems at least two others have had the same problem on the same day, thought it might be useful to know.

I use IE (internet explorer). I've never had this problem before.
