Not too late to judge at GenCon - and get free entry!

Hi, folks - just heard from the RPGA judging coordinator.

The RPGA at GenCon is looking for more judges to fill some gaps in the schedule. Please consider judging! Not only do you get my undying appreciation (or a close copy thereof), you'll get free entry if you judge four or more slots.

But hey - even if you just judge one or two slots, you'll help out tremendously and make the con a lot more fun for a lot of other folks. Personally, I'm judging five slots; I find that I always have a good time while I'm judging, so I might as well make sure I have fun by running games. :D

Please email Troy Daniels at troy@rpgaonline.com if interested.

Oh, and tell him Kevin at EN World sent you!

Judging as in DMing - normal 3e DMs is what they most need, I believe. You'll get an adventure to run and be given a group of 6 folks. It's fun. :D

they provide the adventure eh?
see i was gonna do it, but ahem, that test had some bugs in it.

i'll DM a few games, but really would rather not have to sit through that boring test.

Arthur, the rules knowledge test on the RPGA site is only for folks who want to request modules for game days. For GenCon, I don't think you need to worry about it.

And yes, modules are naturally provided. :)

Thaumaturge, slot 0's (which allow the judge to play a module before running it) are going on now. Get in touch with Troy, he'll put you on the list, and hopefully you can jump into one.

Email sent. I sent one to them months ago, but never heard back -- I think it was someone besides Troy to whom I sent it before, though.

I don't understand -- do you mean people get the adventures in the week before the con and play them via email or something? How does that work?
