As is our wont when three or more members of our family are home and chores (mostly) complete, we busted out the dice and books.
Partway through our gaming session, our DM (Hellhound) was about to call for initiative, and I said so at the same time. One of the Gelflings Jinxed us.

Hound quietly smiled, rolled some dice, shook his head, and indicated I should pass him my character sheet. He started making adjustments.

When he looked to the youngets Gelfling's sheet, they quickly unjinxed him.

What a great home!

I thought the rule with "Jinx" was that you owed the jinxer a kiss.

That rule would make your OP far more understandable in any gaming situation other than your own .
