An examination of the Wright brothers' personal story and the invention of the airplane.

I'm not sure if there will be any real revelations in this one, but it is NOVA so it is likely to be good. Especially if you have some youngsters to plant in front of the television...

Here're some things to benchmark its quality:

If they mention the legal battle for the Wrights to be declared first heavier-than-air aviators (resolved in the 30s/40s, after one of them was dead), instead of a US governmental contractor whose designs never flew until the 30s brought new technology, one bonus point.

If they mention Richard Pearce, two bonus points. (I believe he's officially the inventor of the aileron, but his 1902 aeroplane has never recieved the recognition it deserved.)

I'm in the wrong country to be watching this show, but I might if I could, simply to see how it compares to my Aviation History classes. (I'm not just an artist, I'm also a partially qualified pilot.)
