I especially love the look of determination on the archers face
as well as the detail of the arrow head and shoe- thats great stuff

One critique though: the Joten's Grasping Hand seems wrong; the bones seems too high compared to the flesh (as if the flesh was loose and sagging between the hand bones). I like his pose and the feeling that his IMMENSE, though.

hmm yes the fingers look like they are webbed giving the fingers a look of extreme length (um no offense intended but Klaus do you have webbed fingers?)

Not the bones, but the tendons. I used my own hand as a reference, and the tendons jump out because of the effort of pulling out a truckload of dirt and rocks in search of one pesky (but hot) defender of Faerie.

After contorting my hand a bit, I see what you mean. My perspective was wrong--I was looking down at my hand, not level with it. In that (awkward!) position, it looks just exactly like the drawing.

You should be proud of it, very excellent work. How much is the print? I'm thinking around the 17 inch size range for the print.

Well, the original is 18 inches tall. My printer, OTOH, is not (Epson C79).

If you really want a print, I can look into it.

Nifft: There's a joke in there somewhere, but I can't find it... But seriously, the giant is looking AT the archer, whereas she (judging by the flow of her hair) is turning back to avoid the dust from the rising earth.

No joke, I guess I can't see the eyes very well. Their faces (and shoulders) made it seem like they were facing towards some common foe off-camera.

Now overall I love the pic but that hand has a octopoid look to the knuckle area of it.

Thanks, Joe. Although it is less apparent, there's some texturing in the sleeves of the archer's chainmail (yes! chainmail under a dress! ).
