does anyone know of a good (random) NPC generation program for d20 (fantasy) that allows you to print out on index-card sized labels?!?!

or do i have to make something in filemaker pro?

i'd prefer something free

and the ability to print onto index cards is more important than a great generator

Check out NPC Generator at www.rpgattitude.com. This utility is second to none for NPC generation.

Vascant has recently added support for 3x5 cards. More can be found in this ENWorld thread

As he said above, may not be free but it does everything you just listed and the things you did not but want.

I just finished up the single side card and looking to start on the double side card pretty soon to handle higher levels.

NPC Designer is a great product. Vascant is quick to respond to requests/corrections which is another big plus.

Joining the bandwagon:

It's the best product I've bought for the computer this year. Very easily configured and very quick. The NPC designer part lets you customize any aspect from weapon choice to skill profs.
