Nuclear weapons of D&D Rules

As for Disjunction, never been in a game where it's been used, so I had to look it up. Seems rough, but so is Wish and a few other 9th level spells.

Yea, I should note that wish can CREATE magic items with the expenditure of experience points. This increases your character wealth, and with the self-correcting XP system, the XP loss isn't forever. Mordy's disjunction isn't that bad, although in Living Greyhawk it was a nuke up until it got restricted.

As the mage in the party, I have avoided the Poly Self/Other into some better form in Shilsen's campaign, simply because I find it annoying that as things were written pre-the recent changes that the hands down orders of magnitude most effective tactic was to spend all your time as something else. Since you could get enormous boosts to stats, ac and attacks. So Shil has avoided using this tactic against us as a courtesy and because we both agree its kind of cheezy.
This sums up my feeling on the whole shape change thing. It realy seems cheasy now, as it's a very powerful ability, that it seems you're not living up to your power potential if you don't use it.
