Looks good! Cool to see Rami Malek; I'm in the middle of a re-watch of The Pacific, which I think is the first place I saw him. Haven't watched Crowe in anything since The Nice Guys and this looks like a role with some meat.

Also reminds me that I need to get around to finally watching the 1961 Judgement at Nuremberg. I've seen a couple of great clips from it this year, but I think I really want to find the three hours.

I am not sure I buy it. Feels too stylized to me. Crowe also seems like a strange choice to me, though I will readily admit that I would not recognize a photo of most of the high level Nazis whose names I know.

This will be a tough film to discuss openly and frankly here on these forums. Due to certain things happening in the world and how one could see their direct relation to some of the things this film discusses, the political aspects seem like they would preclude certain areas of talk which would be pertinent to how impactful this film could be in our present day.

Without checking IMDB, I'm assuming Crowe is playing the part of Herman Goring.

The great thing about science fiction and fantasy is it allows for plausible deniability when it comes to to current topics. The Forever War is just a science fiction story about humans battling aliens in space and in no way has anything to do with the Vietnam War. You thought it was about Vietnam? That's just crazy. The Star Trek episode "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" is about an alien species who destroy themselves because they can't get along with each other. I can't see how that's relevant to anything going on in the United States in the late 1960s. <wink, wink> Orwell's Animal Farm is a delightful story about farm animals and I'm sure Mr. Boxer, the cart horse, will be back very, very soon.

Note: This is not an encouragement to subvert forum rules or give our mods any headaches. I think if we simply stick to the topic of what's in the film, book, or RPG we're probably on safe ground. Nobody's gotten in trouble for talking about Eat the Reich yet.

Correct. We don’t expect to see any real-world political talk. If that makes it too hard to discuss the film, then I guess the film doesn’t get discussed.
