Does anyone know, what the Holy Avenger weapon enchantment is supposed to do?

As far as I can tell, it's just fancy text, and nothing more.

Wel, for me it seems to work like a simple +1 enhancement bonus. The weapon I got is a +1 Holy Avenger and acts like a +2 weapon, and it glows! Well at least something.

is it the holy avenger paladin sword you are talking about? That is +5 if used by a paladin. Maybe its somethign else im thinking of.

Well, I know what it does in D&D, but it doesn't seem to be the same in NWN.

There is a sword in the PoA, which is a +5, +2d6 damage vs. evil, Holy Avenger, Paladin only, so it is basically modelled after the real Holy Avenger, but there are also other weapons, like a +1 Holy Avenger mace, which every class can use.

Thanee, I suppose then that there are many different interpretations/versions of the sword.

How about this, the 4th lvl Paladin spell Holy Sword:
This spell transforms the caster's melee weapon into a powerful Holy Avenger, a specially blessed weapon that, when wielded by paladin, acts like a +5 holy weapon that dispels magic on hit.

I don't know the exact stats though (must be something like DC ?? on-hit: Dispel magic).
