What point buy system do you think would be the best for NWN? 25, 28 or (gasp) 30?

Are toad familiars allowed?

Nobody would win that bet.

And the beauty of that coming out first (if it does) is that campaigns run in that won't need Master Tools.

I actively post on the Bioware boards (as 'Becker'). I am very excited. My campaign world is based around the art that I know is going to be in NWN.

1) 25 points. The monsters in the MM were balanced for 25, game balance is MUCH more important in a multiplayer CRPG than an RPG, and 14 & 15 tend to be "threshold" numbers in some attriubutes with some classes

2) Probably. Don't know for sure though. I do know cats are in.

I'm pretty certain I read that toad familiars are not in. That, of course, could change by release.

I lost enthusiasm a few months ago, but it's back and then some! Hope it's out soon!
