Testing my first O.R.G.E generator, it needs a LOT of work.

The body of a male dwarf was found in the river - watch thinks it is a mugging gone wrong - sword wounds cover the body

The body of a monster (DM choice) was found in the outhouse of an inn - watch thinks it is a mugging gone wrong - looks to be a knife was used to do the work

The body of a female elf was found in the street - watch thinks it is a mugging gone wrong - the wounds on the body appear to be by fist

It's pretty cool! Something I could easily reference in my local rumours table. Could use some grammer, though!

For example:

The body of a monster (DM choice) was found in the outhouse of an inn - watch thinks it is a mugging gone wrong - looks to be a knife was used to do the work

could be:

The body of a {reference one of the monster tables} was found in the outhouse of an inn. The Watch thinks it's a mugging gone wrong. It looks like a knife was used to do the work.

Agree, was trying to get structure built, then add more details. This is cool.

Morrus, Made changes to use your Tavern Generator...

The body of a male dwarf was found in the outhouse of The Amber Snake Bar. The City Watch says it has all the markings of a crime of opportunity. Examining the body, magic was the likely cause of death.

The body of a female elf was found in the river The City Watch thinks it is a mugging gone wrong. Examining the body, it appears to have been shot with an arrow or bolt.

The body of a male human was found in the storage room of The Lavender Dragon Bar. The City Watch feels it is a crime of passion. Examining the body, looks like a mace or another blunt object was used in the crime.

Awesome! I'll tie it in to my rumour list as soon as I get Sharon off the PC! She's ordering a curry....

This is exactly how OGRE is supposed to work! You make something, I use it, the whole thing becomes more extensible and powerful. Fantastic!

Just a couple of requests since I'm referencing it now:

Examining the body, the wounds are consent with those caused by a sword

Typo - consent for consistent.

and "bed room" should be "bedroom".

Sorry, pedantic, I know! :)

Moved to Miscellaneous. Added items found on the body, link back to Morrus' Mundane item Generator. Like how you can use dice roles to change the verbiage of the description, have to work with that more.

Range Contents Example
1-10 - No items of worth were found on the body.
11-18 - The body appears to be stripped of everything of value.
19-20 - The following item was found on the body {Morrus[Mundane Treasure Generator]}.
