Sword of Spirit
Legend
I noticed a few things about the monster building guidelines.
1) I ran a couple O5e monsters (giants) through it and their CR's each came out a level higher in Level Up. I'm wondering if there are any general trends in how it converts differently, or if it's just a matter of each monster being different. Also wondering how big the discrepancy might be.
2) While it's pretty early, I also wonder if anyone has put together a re-presentation of Level Up's monster building math that lets you start with a pre-statted monster and determine it's CR, rather than starting with CR and building a monster.
3) I also noticed that the system seems to ignore the vast majority of details that would adjust CR in O5e. Most of the time I would agree, but I wonder if some of those monster features (like from the DMG) might still have a bit of impact that I'm not sure Level Ups system has any built in way to account for.
