[OA-Rokugan-My players stay out!] Need help creating magic items

My group is hitting 13th level on average and I'm looking into creating a unique item for each as part of gifts they will be given for good service.

Toshiro is 13th level samurai dedicated to honor and truth.
Kaz is a 12th level samurai, more into drinking and carousing.
Verick is a 13th level samurai/fighter/rogue who's more sneaky and more focused on crits.
Hawk a 11th level Centaur ranger with a big great axe.
Mir is a 12th level Aasimar/cleric/bard/mystic wanderer dedicated to Silvanus.
Mindra is a 14th level Vanara shaman who likes tricks.
Volar is a 14th level Elven wizard very concerned for his own safety.

I tried asking the players and so far simply got Kaz wanted something he can use to subdue people (so maybe a club of subdual or something). Mir wants a + to wisdom or resistance (more likely wisdow, Mir already has a +17 will save) or something to see invisible. Verick simply mentioned things like long life, gloves of balance from Magic of Faerun for his two weapon fighting, etc.

So I'm looking for ideas that go well with the characters and are not basic like the old Amulet of Health +4.

The Sword of Shanarra - A Katanna with a hilt that looks like a metal torch. Whenever it strikes Undead, it forces them to realize the truth about themselves... that they are DEAD! Acts as a Turn Undead attempt (free, and unlimited uses per day), but ignores all results other than "Destroyed".
