D&D 5E (2014) Oathbow magic?

Do the arrows fired from an Oathbow count as magic? It appears to be normal piercing damage. It seems most of the "unique" weapons without a plus list "this magic weapon...". And most staffs specifically say they can be used as a magic quarter staff (while some don't and I assume they cannot be used as a magic weapon at all). Weapons of warning and wounding specifically magic.Javelins of lightning are specifically listed as magic. However the Oathbow does not list magic anywhere.

I got that...but know where does it say the Oathbow is a magic weapon.

I guess I was looking for a source or direction that says any weapon listed in the "magic" section does magic damage or similar...

As for the magic staff issue. A regular staff is an arcane focus for casting spells, whereas a quarterstaff is a fighting weapon for hitting things.
The line added to many of the magic staves means that they can work as both.

Ah, but the question becomes thus - is the Oathbow the ranger equivalent of a Holy Avenger and Rod of the Pact Bearer? Okay, probably just me being silly. I feel kind of bad that there's so few bows, though.

As has been noted, in previous editions all ammunition fired from a magical weapon count as magical for the purposes of overcoming damage resistance, immunity, etc. But in 5e, this rule did not exist until the new errata.

From the DMG errata:

Weapons (p. 140). The section ends with a new paragraph: “If a magic weapon has the ammunition property, ammunition fired from it is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.”

So there you have it.
