I just got fed up with the idolizing of OD&D as the "only real D&D" and decided to say what I really think of the whole thing. It's pretty hard to avoid an "edition war" when the entire point of a thread is an earlier edition and how a well known poster is a vehement proponent of it over all else. Unfortunately it looks like that thread is approaching critical mass. I didn't mean to ignite a war, but you cannot unring a bell. Well, I'm not going to stoke that fire anymore.

On to something more pleasant, the new episode of BSG looks like it will be pretty sweet on Friday, I'm picking up the DVD set as soon as I can get to a video store.
