Observations from PHB II

So I was reading through the book tonight at work when I discovered something interesting. None of the new races favor the Shaman. The class' lead picture shows a Dwarf which actually is the best race match up. Anyone else catch something like this?

I also forsee a lot of Drow, Gnome, and Halfling Sorcerers. The Drow make me wonder if there won't be a version in the Arcane book similiar to the Dark Pact for Warlock. If not I wouldn't be surprised if someone makes one for them.

The Warden actually qualifies for two Paragon Paths with the same name. That's not confusing at all, guys. ;)

(Horned Champion from Dragon 369 and Horned Champion from Player's Handbook 2.)

I'd have to agree they should have listed it with Deva. However reading through the powers Int just doesn't pay off as well as Con does. Everything Con based heals or gives resistances or some such. Though bonuses to hit are nice.

The PHBII is clearly not a stand-alone book, even if you had all the combat and such rules in it. It is an add-on, and I think a good add-on.

I must say I am enjoying finally seeing races that have a bonus to charisma after 8 years of 3.x where no standard or even semi-standard race did.
