Pathfinder 1E Occult Adventures playtest available

Addition of an "Adventure Sites" line that creates locations (ruins, tombs, temples, etc.) that can be used by GMs as location-based adventures rather than plot-based adventures. These should be fully detailed locations (not left to GM development) that be dropped into any campaign when desired.
This would be fantastic. I might need to subscribe to this.

I might mind more players options if there weren't a ton of options I still wanted.

A lot of simplicity at the table is just choosing the right options during character generation and level-up (simple archetypes, simple spells, simple feats, simple talents, etc.). But there aren't generally enough simple options to support a 1-17 run, especially if you want to have it involve actual choices.

Because my group is a tiny fraction of Paizo's audience, only a tiny fraction of character options are aimed at us... so we need a lot of character options printed to get everything we need.

Cheers!

I'm simply unable to grok the occultist class. I have not idea what it is or what its purpose is.

Also, not one but two spirit-infused classes? Honestly, the medium looks good but the spiritualist is completely redundant (and the name is not good, either).

I think you could compare the occultist to the psychic warrior from the Expanded Psionics Handbook or the Inquisitor or a hybrid. Its purpose, well, I guess that is something like the generalist occult class, but I have not read it closely enough to know if I'm on the right track.

I've only had one read through of the playtest document. I thought it was a very interesting take on psionics that makes more sense in most fantasy type worlds than the more science fiction flavored ones in previous incarnations.

I'm actually running a playtest of the Occult Adventure classes in a PBP game on the rpg.net forum. I'm using the Witchwar Legacy. I got a two Kineticists (A human fire bender and an Aasimar sandbender) a Half Elf Mesmerist, and a Darakhul (Basically a Ghoul) spiritualist.

The rpg.net forums are down atm, but so far its going well, if a bit slowly. The team is currently involved in their first fight against the advanced Remorhaz in area 4.
