In Oceania 2084 - Surplus Edition you will experience the depths of asymmetrical gameplay, where player agency reigns supreme. Join the resistance against Big Brother's oppressive regime, weaving intricate tales of hope and defiance.
After months of anticipation, I am thrilled to unveil the fully illustrated edition of Oceania 2084 - Surplus Edition.
Oceania 2084 - Surplus Edition has been released as a downloadable PDF collection on itch.io. and on DriveThruRPG. It was the subject of a successful Kickstarter campaign last spring and has since then been in full production. In about a month I am expecting to be able to start delivering the physical hardback books of the game.

The game is a semi-collaborative storytelling game based on the book 1984 written by George Orwell. It is dark. It is dystopian, but it is ultimately about hope and struggle against a totalitarian world order.
Developing this game has really been a personal journey into a really challenging game design project and an inner exploration of my understanding of totalitarian oppression. It has been harrowing at times and really enjoyable at other times. But, from a personal perspective I am longing for doing something that is a little less dark.
The discord community and amazing Kickstarter backers have been instrumental in shaping this edition. Your feedback on gameplay mechanics and narrative elements has been invaluable. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the new book.
