Oceania 2084 is a game that explores the moral and existential challenges of living in a world dominated by techno-feudalism and totalitarian surveillance. The game is set within the superstate of Oceania, a society where resistance is met with brutal repression, but hope still flickers in the hearts of those who dare to resist.
The game's narrative is not a mere rehashing of 1984's themes but an expansion upon them. Players are invited to consider what freedom means when it has been erased from the collective consciousness, what it means to win when victory seems impossible, and whether resistance itself is worth the cost of certain annihilation.
Unique Gameplay Mechanics
Unlike traditional TTRPGs, Oceania 2084 employs a novel system that removes the reliance on traditional dice rolls. Instead, players are tasked with making difficult choices about the actions they take, determining whether the risks and consequences are worth it.
