I normally like Nickelback, but their new song "Rockstar" blows.

I have an MP3 player (a RIO Sport). You can put podcasts on those, right? I am so MP3 illiterate. I have been thinking about buying an IPOD anyways because it can hold SO many more songs. My RIO is like 3 years old.

I am trying so hard not to get an Mp3 player, but these PodCasts sound so good. I don't like listening at the computer and they generally won't fit on a CD.

If you can find a discman that can play MP3s you'll be in business. Then you can just burn the podcast to a CD as a data disc and you'll be set.

I'm squeezing in a short audio book from the library, Shipwreck at the Bottom of the World: The Extraordinary True Story of Shackleton and the Endurance by Jennifer Armstrong.

I've heard the details of this survival story a dozen times (from various sources) and I never tire of the bravery and heroism. It's one of the most uplifting I know.

For the holiday, I am listening to an audiobook of Dracula as I doze off each night.

I am tempted to upgrade my car in-dash CD player to an audio CD/Mp3 CD player. I may end up doing that instead of getting the MP3 player (or at some point both).

I've been mainlining all of the Eighth Doctor adventures from Big Finish Audio's line of Doctor Who audio adventures. I'm about to run out of those, so I guess I'll start listening to all the other Doctors soon.

Not a bad album at all, theres a few tracks that'll be going in my regular play folder of mp3's that's for sure, most notably Alive.

That's odd. I am been ambilivant about their new album until that song.

Yes, you should be able to. It may not have automated function for it, but a podcast is typically just an mp3 (generally streamed). Download the whole thing and you should be gravy.

Me too! I'm on the final one of this series. Supposedly there will be new companions for the next series, which I think will be a good thing.
