*GASP* You FUDGE die rolls? BURN THE HERETIC.

Heh. During prep, certainly; I do that all the time when using stuff like the Monster & Treasure Assortments. I consider those rolls more like "creativity assists" than anything else. I don't fudge rolls during game play, though. (I roll combat out in the open so nobody thinks I'm coddling their weak asses.)

In his Dungeon Architect series in White Dwarf, Roger Musson suggests adding a teleport system to alleviate this problem.
