There's a lot of d20 products out there and I have a very limited budget...so I was wondering if someone could point me towards a spontaneous casting replacement for ye old cleric that is completely OGC. Double points if it can be found in a pdf product. Thanks.

Well, it's not in PDF format, but WotC's Unearthed Arcana has rules for transforming clerics (and druids, and wizards) into spontaneous casters. And UA is mostly OGC.

the spontaneous cleric from UA is very easy to sum up. Same number of spell slots as a normal cleric. Have spells known as a sorcerer plus their two domains. So the levels where a cleric has a spell level but sorcerers don't the cleric only knows his two domain spells. This makes the domains much more important a focus of character power. It is OGC.

I think most of the shaman classes (like mongooses encyclopedia divine and green ronin's shaman's handbook) would be spontaneous, but I don't own them so you'd want to check the reviews. Mongoose is putting their books up at www.dtrpg.com while GR is putting up their new ones at www.rpgnow.com and slowly adding their old ones.

Voadam beat me too it.

Green Ronin's Shaman (from Shaman's Handbook) and Ancestral Speaker (from Corwyll, which IIRC is up on RPGnow.)

Mongoose's Encyclopedia Divine: Shamans.

Or use Buy the Numbers and "roll your own" spontaneous caster... though this will take a little more work... but the BtN system lets you take access to cleric spell lists, choose the "base attribute" (Wisdom, Charisma, etc.) while casting as a spontaneous caster. While this system is intended to let players buy stuff as they go rather than levelling, you can easily "reverse" the process and build each level of a custom class by putting together a set of abilities that costs 1000, 2000, 3000 etc. XP.
