I thought I was acronym savvy... but alas it isn't so.

What's BBEG? Big Bad Evil Guy? (did I guess it?)
Believer that Bert and Ernie are Gay?

Thank you, thank you... I'm here all the week.

*ducks*

(Please do not misconstrue the above as anything other than my amusement that people actually get into arguments as to whether or not the above statement is true or even defensible - and it is not a statement of my moral belief system in any way shape or form. I am of the opinion that Ernie and Bert, being muppets, have no sexual orientation one way or the other. As Robbie the Robot would say, "In my case sir, the question is entirely without meaning.")

Bottom Breeding Elf Guy
Boom Boom Enchanter Gal
Bronze bagel eating gull
Blue Belly Elevin Gnome
Backwater Bay Electric Gnome
Brass Band Eldery Gnomes
Bouncing Betty Explosive Goblin
And want else want to take it and run off more definitions?

Wait a second. I think you're all a bit off base on the origen of the BBEG/Big Bad stuff. That stuff was used way back in the early eighties.

I picked it up from somewhere back when I ran my first 'campaign' in elementary school (around 1984). I have a folder (GI JOE! - Snakeeyes) that has 'Big Bad Evil Guys' written on it in big, sloppy, black letters. I am ashamed of the contents (the first thing in the folder - a lost orphan that decided to become an elf and then became a beholder - yeesh), but I was using 'Big Bad Evil Guys' way back then.

Considering that I was 9 or 10 around that time, I must have picked it up from a children's book (something like choose your own adventure), TV (something like GI Joe or something like it), or some similar source. My bet is that it was picked up from TV.
