methinks those are a different breed than the FR version. weren't the FR ones undead and evil, and not fey and neutral? or am i mistaken?

ok, check this out. i've started my RoUM conversions. i'm thinking about making the Elder Orb 17HD. if you have any questions/concerns about this, now is the time to speak them.

if you're wondering how i got 17... i never did understand why beholders, and some other monsters, got straight HP instead of HD in older editions. so, i compared the 2E standard beholder to the elder orb stats in RoUM. since THAC0 for monsters was a function of HD, i compared that stat. standard beholders had a THAC0 of 11, while elder orbs had 5. since that's a difference of 6, i added 6 HD on top of what the beholder had, 11 HD. make sense? am i an idiot or a genius, or somewhere in between?

I'll have to trust your judgement on the matter, since I have no idea how one converts monsters over from 2E. I know how to create, but I have no figgin' clue how to convert.
Is there a conversion guideline or something somewhere I can download?

Magus: I think you can find the conversion manual on WotC web site, you may have to look in their archives or some such.

The FR Lhiannan Shee is an neutral evil undead vampiric spirit with an affinty for men (bards in particular) with high charisma.
