Gentlemen, ladies: it has been confirmed.
The Venusian government has rebuffed all our attempts at peaceful resolution to the interplanetary crisis situation that exists between our fair planet and theirs. As of June 9th, 2004, a state of war exists between the United Planetary Unified Government and the Mighty Mekon.
We must all be vigilant! Vigilant for when their Invasion Pods come raining down from the sky! I urge all my fellow humans - look directly into the sun! It's the only way to see them comming!
