Once Upon a Rheim (Erekose13 Judging)

"In any case, let us leave this place. We can take appropriate precautions tonight with Oirhandir if we must. But that beast is still in this area, let us leave here before it returns.
If that is everyone is well enough to travel?"

[sblock=ooc: ]Nodis is approved for level 4! Now he´s ready to unleash a terror never seen in ENWorld (as far as I know): Level 3 astral constructs![/sblock]

"What he means to say is that we think that it was a werewolf, and if that is the case we would do well to look for someone with a more spiritual mind, if you catch my drift."
Oirhandir was shocked. He had never seen a werewolf, so he had no way of knowing for sure. But the goblin-face on the creature was proof that it wasn't any ordinary wolf.

"Do you really think it was a werewolf?", he asked meekly. "But there are herbs that...oh, it's probably too late for that!" The gravity of his situation sunk in. "But then we'll need to find a cleric favored of the gods at the time of the full moon...wait a moment!, he exlaimed. "It wasn't a full moon last night! That couldn't have been a werewolf! Nice try, you had me hooked like a fish!" Relieved, Oirhandir turned to go groom his horse. "Stout hearts, and full of mirth!", he chuckled as he walked.[Sblock=OoC: ]First, Oirhandir has been approved by both judges for 4th level. 2nd, if it was a "clear night" and Oirhandir was "looking at the stars", that would mean it wasn't a full moon, right? Let me know if I've got that wrong.[/sblock]

"I hope for your sake and ours that the creature wasn't a werewolf."
"Well, it couldn't have been", Oirhandir replied. The elf seemed more sure of himself than he had a few moments earlier. "And that's that."

As an afterthought, he added, "I wonder what it was, though."

"Ok, if you say so" shrugs Nodis. The group mounts to continue their travel, and Nodis starts humming in low voice.

"Give me a body of fur
Long, bautiful fur
shining, streaming, flaxen, waxen
let it fly in the breeze
I want it long, straight, curly, fuzzy, snaggy shaggy..."

Had they been stopped, Oirhandir would have accompanied Nodis on his chimes. It was a good joke, him turning into a werewolf! Alas, Oirhandir needed both hands for the reins, and had to content himself with listening to Nodis's humming.

[sblock=Fenris]Looks right. However, it looks like you're missing the XP from the first part of the session (It's on page 4 I think). Check the interface thread for my post and check your total, I think it's up to date there.[/sblock]
[sblock=Moon stuff]While you can have a full moon and a clear night, it was a waning moon at night.[/sblock]
[sblock=Oirhandir]Indeed, you have heard of other wolf like shape shifters that are not were creatures, but wandering outsiders who look for souls to feast upon. You had thought they were just stories, but now...[/sblock]
[sblock=OOC]I'm back. I'll pick things up more tomorow night most likely.[/sblock]
[sblock]This one is just because.[/sblock]
