Oirhadir slid his shield around his shoulder and grasped the handle securely. He swung his sword at his opponent, but as he was inexperienced with fighting from horseback he failed to match Hiriloce's motion and missed.[sblock=OoC: ]Hiriloce takes a 5' step away from the thug dragging Lupic while Oirhandir equips a shield (move action). Then, Oirhandir attacks and misses the thug on horseback (attack is d20+4=8), standard action.[/sblock]Bront said:Oirhandir...
The situation growing desperate, Oirhandir summoned all his nerve and struck hard against the mounted bandit, his sword sinking deep into the man's vitals.[sblock=OoC: ]Attack is d20+4=24, critical threat. Damage is d8+1=8. Crit confirmation is d20+4=19, which probably crits, and damage is d8+1=2. Should take the starch out of his shorts.[/sblock]Bront said:The thug on horseback attacks Oirhandir, and his longsword cracks against his shield, nearly pushing Oirhandir off his horse, but failing to do much else.
The other thug charges Oirhandir on foot, but fails to connect with the bard as he recovers his steating.

Aiken and Nodis return to Lord Valdor's. As they get close, they spot a heavy set man in elaborate purple finery leaving the building, with two muscular half-orcs in tow.
"No, it's a half day's ride just to get there, so I doubt they'd just turn around and head back," Valdor says.Someone said:"I bet this guy's not other than Garza. I wonder what is he doing here." says Nodis.
As the pair enter the house, Nodis asks for Oirhandir and the rest. "They aren't here yet? That's strange, after spending so much time in the city I though we'd find them here. I'm for going after them, since we have things to discuss."
"By the way, who was the guy that just left? The one with the two half orcs bodyguards?"
