The Temple is quiet beyond a little splashing you hear in the back. As you take a few steps inside, the splashing stops, and a rather large woman appears wraped in a rather large towel. "Sorry Hon, just takin' a bath. How can I help you?"

"I'm terribly sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you." stammers out Kali

"I saw the lights on and......" she trails off.

"I'm not sure why, but I was drawn to the temple. May I just wander here for a bit?"

"Halina calls to many of her children. Yer welcome to stay a while hon. I'm Hellen, what's your name?" asks the rather large woman, with a warm smile.

[sblock=El Jeffe]You're welcome to chime in with the mayor situation and all before someone asks ;) I'm not responsable for what happens if they do. :) [/sblock]

Aiken answers Nodis "No... I don't think that would be a very good idea. I'll leave it till morning."

Turning back to the waitress"Sleep well beautiful, I'm off to wallow in dreams about what could have been" wink ;)
"Well, that's certaintly as close as you'll ever get now," she says with a smirk as she heads back to the bar, perhaps with a little extra hip sway.

OOC: Anyone have anything else on the agenda for the eve? (Kali is still out and about I see)

Oirhandir finished a tune and excused himself to take a short break. He wandered over by his companions and overheard Aiken saying something about finding the mayor but not visiting him until the morning.

Finding a opportunity to speak to Aiken out of earshot of all save Nodis, the elf tapped him on the shoulder. "Ah, Aiken", he began in a low voice, "I don't think it would be wise to take such a direct approach. You see, Mayor Clinton probably sees me as somewhat responsible for his pain, since I knew of his daughters plans to run off and failed to warn him. Please take care what you say and who hears it, as I have no desire to cause any more misgivings in this little town."

OOC: I named him Clinton? (I'm bad with names, even my own sometimes).
OoC: Mayor John Clinton. I think you can tell which thread I'm now up to in the recompilation. :)

Erm, does that make his daughter Daphnie Clinton? I would expect so...

"Kali" responds Kali tenatively. As she begins to wander around.

Why did my path lead me here tonight she thinks.

"Kali, what a beautiful name," she says with a kind smile. "You sure there's nothing I kin help ya with hon? You're not here for the festival, are you? that was a few weeks ago. Where ya from?"
