Once Upon a Rheim (Erekose13 Judging)

OoC: If it's any consolation, so long as Oirhandir is still conscious, he will come back for Lupic. Just got to get rid of those pesky swordsmen first...

Of course, if you hadn't split up... ;)

Either you're holding the combat powess of a 1st level rogue in high steem, or you're saying they needed Nodis' ectoplasmic and awesome powers of destruction!

OOC: Numbers help, 2 more targets would have helped, but they're not dead yet... :)

Kali takes a shot at one of the archers, striking him in the chest. He looks a bit woosy, but is still up and active.

The two archers fire at Kali. Once strikes her, grazing her arm and doing minemal damage.

Oirhandir flees towards Kali, and meets up with her.

Lupic failes to bleed, but he groans successfully.

One of the thugs runs and mounts Lupic's horse, the other moves for cover off to the side of the road.

Initiative:
Kali (5/6 HP)
2 Thugs in Trees (1 injured badly)
Oirhandir (2/19 HP)
Lupic (-3/27 HP - Stable)
Even More Thugs

Kali is up [/sblock]

Kali fires and downs one of the archers (nice shooting! particularly since you had almost no chance to hit ;) )

The remaining archer fires at Kali but misses.

Oirhandir... (is up)

Oirhandir noted Kali's archery with satisfaction. "Excellent shooting!", he commended. "Keep it up while I finish this spell!" Oirhandir began chanting once again, and Kali watched in amazement as the wound to his chest closed and sealed, spitting out the offending arrowhead in the process.[sblock=OoC: ]Oirhandir will cast Cure Moderate Wounds on himself. If you'll let me use my rolls from post 483, that puts him at 2+13=15 hp again. If you'd rather I roll again, just say so. That's a standard action...Oirhandir will use his mount's movement to stay just out of melee range of any thug on foot...but if one somehow has enough movement to close the gap despite Oirhandir being mounted, he'll allow that thug to close and enter melee next turn.[/sblock]

Oirhandir's wounds close up increadably, as he wheels around again, watching the two thugs.

Lupic dreams of things half-orcs dream of... perhaps best left unsaid ;)

The thug on foot slowly begins to advance through the cover of the trees, while the one on horseback begins to make his way towards Oirhandir, sword at the ready.

Kali fires at the injured archer, but her shot goes wide of the tree.

The healthy archer fires at Oirhandir, missing the bard.

The injured archer fires at Kali, striking her roughly, though she remains upright and consious, barely.

In Town -
Nodis and Aiken do manage to find out fairly easily the location of Garza's home, as well as his place of business, before late afternoon. (Heading back to Valdor's place?}

"The one on the horse could force me to fight at a disadvantage", thought Oirhandir. He rode away from the man, turned, and fired an arrow at him. The shot narrowly missed his target's ear.

"To me, Kali", called the elf. "I can't heal both you and Lupic, you'll have to look after yourself!"[sblock=OoC: ]I'm assuming that Oirhandir is not engaged in melee combat. If so, Oirhandir will ride to 90' from the thug on horseback, if he can do that in a single turn. Else, he'll take max movement away from him (for one move action), then turn and shoot. Attack roll is a d20 + 6 (usual bonuses) +1 (Inspire Courage? I don't know if that's expired yet...) = 10, which is probably a miss. If by some miracle it isn't, damage is d8 + 1 = 3.

If I'm all wrong about this, and Oirhandir is in melee, he'll take a 5' step back on Hiriloce, toss his bow to the side of the path (free action), draw his sword (move action), and swing. The attack roll would be d20 + 4 +1 (Inspire Courage) = 8, which of course would miss (unless you want me to re-roll since it would be a melee attack, not a ranged attack).[/sblock]
