I think he just cut and pasted that message into all his active threads.

I believe the plan is to just sit tight on this adventure until things settle down a little for him. Assuming all goes well, probably sometime in January, I'd guess.

And Bront, good luck with, well, everything.

Kali's arrow falls short of the man dragging Lupic away.

The two thugs in the trees rain down arrows at Kali and Oirhandir, both missing.

Oirhandir strikes the thug on horseback, who grimaces.

The thug on horseback turns around and rides back behind a tree where one of the archers is perched.

The other thug drags Lupic back, and will soon be out of sight under cover of forest.

Desperate to save Lupic, Oirhandir rode toward the thug dragging him away and tagged him with an arrow. Oirhandir squinted; had the arrow struck or glanced off? Even if it had hit home, the elf feared that it would take another to drive the man away.[sblock=OoC: ]Ok, this is a little complicated, but I'll try to keep it as simple as possible. Oirhandir will ride as close to Lupic as he can in one move, subject to two constraints: He will not come closer than 60' to the thug dragging Lupic off, and he will not come closer than 90' to the thug on Lupic's horse. To hit roll is d20+6=16, damage is d8+1=2.[/sblock]

Kali rides forward again, risking the arrows from the other archer to try to get a last shot at the thug dragging Lupic away.

Again, Oirhandir BUMPED his butt on the saddle as he rode toward the fallen Lupic. The poor elf couldn't ever remember riding so hard or so painfully in the midst of battle.

OoC: Hope everything is OK in Illinois, haven't seen Bront on in a couple of days.
