"You didn't say that!" exclaims Nodis. "So one of Valdor's servants is a spy?"

Nodis turns in his saddle very excited. "He may not know we know, so we may use the classic trick of... uh... you know, the one where you... ehhh... I'm sure there are a lot of classic tricks, but I don't know any of them."

"Oh! like pretending that we have something very interesting and use it as a trap. Or since we can assume Garza (I'm sure it's him) will know what we're going to do, we can agree with Valdor to feing selling Scarlet to you, and count that Garza will know. He'll attack us again, and this time we'll be prepared! Gods, I can't wait!"

"Or we can have just one of us return. The others hiding to conceal the survivors. Whoever placed the dart will know of the attack, but may not know of its success or failure. The real question, aside from who ordered the attack, is why? What did they think we could do?" offers Kali

"You said some of them survived and fled, so by now Garza (assuming it's him, but it doesn't change the reasoning if not) must know about it. He'll be either angry because his plan failed, apparently for the first time, or worried because he thinks you will go after whoever sent the bandits." resons Nodis.

"And about the reason of the attacks, it follows what we already know; they attack Valdor's employees anyway, and if the reason of the attacks to Valdor's caravans is really to force him to sell the elves, then trying to kill Oirhandir makes much more sense."

Scarlet visibly shudders at the mention of Garza's name. "That man is disgusting... just... ugh.".

[sblock=Oirhandir]She seems to be holding back some on the subject, though certaintly not about her feelings.[/sblock]

"Well, I suggest that we return before news of us can. Anyone who looks rather dissapointed to see us, or who runs off to report such news, may give us a tip off as to who our traitor is." suggests Kali.

OOC: Approved for level 2!

"What do you know about him?" comments Nodis.
"The man likes to use slave women," Scarlet says, puting an odd empasis on use. "He works on tha underside of the slave market, and keeps things movin' with bribes and a good front show. He's been after us fer years now, eva since he met me and my siblings at Lord Valdor's place. Many of his slaves disapear, never to be seen again, and some of his slaves likely weren't slaves when he met 'em. I wouldn't be suprised if that was what he'd have done ta you if he was behind this."
