D&D 5E [One-Shots] To Catch a Thief (Level 1) OOC - Recruiting

Charwoman Gene

It will be for up to 5 characters of first level. All characters must have their own motivation for helping with Torban's thief problem.

Torban Ironsides, Captain of the Watch, has put out a call for some outside contractors to help solve a problem he is having. Help him bring order back to the good people of the city.

See the One Shots threads for character creation.

Rules: (Because we all need them, all subject to modification)
1. Newbies to the site or those players or that haven't played in any One-Shots before will get priority placement.
2. PvP is strictly frowned on. So that would be a no to that.*
3. No trading of equipment will be allowed - but borrowing something for the adventure is acceptable.
4. Working on downtime/crafting/magic item pool rules if anyone wishes to help with those see the disscusion thread
5. Have fun! That is a rule so please follow it.
*If you want to play a thief trying to muck up the mission, message me.

Posting interest. Open to playing whatever, so I'll wait to see if there's room/what other people want to play before worrying about that.

Sounds like my half-orc warlock Mr. Bubbles might be a good fit. Sure, he's a criminal, but that's in another city, and he's trying to be a good citizen over here. :)

Well sh*t, now I might have to.

Any of you play Dragon Age? Remember Dagna, the dwarf who wanted to be a mage? I loved her!

Yeah, mostly goblins. Had this paranoia about goblins being criminal masterminds responsible for all evil in the world, too.

DM created a gorgeous scene for his raven familiar, set to the famous Poe poem, which ended with the raven quothing "goblins! Goblins! Goblins!"

Ah, good times.

Well.... you will get other Adventures to come about to take her on. And maybe her and my dwarf sorcerer(ogre mage blood) can adventure together sometime.

Well, I may like her enough to carry over to another adventure, but as of now, I plan to dump PCs after each one-shot. I actually quite like character creation, so that's part of the appeal of one-shots for me.

But who knows...she may "stick." :)
